Vive la France! Celebrating French National Day

DPS Modinagar proudly celebrated French National Day on 14th July 2025 , honouring the historic Bastille Revolution—a symbol of liberty, equality, and fraternity. The event was a vibrant showcase of cultural appreciation and global learning.

We were privileged to have Ms. Neha Sehgal, an accomplished French language expert and our Guest of Honour, grace the occasion with her presence and insights.

The celebration began with an engaging explanation of the day’s significance by Ms. Shagun, setting the tone for a journey into the heart of France. Our talented students stole hearts with their charming poem recitations, followed by a delightful French-themed fashion show that brought iconic French flair to life.

The highlight of the celebration was a delectable display of French cuisine, lovingly prepared and beautifully presented by our own students, who also served the dishes with elegance and warmth—reflecting not just skill, but hospitality too.
Understanding and respecting world cultures is not just an academic pursuit but a way to build empathy, connection, and global perspective.
